Chalk Preschool of Rancho Palos Verdes

The quality of care & education your child will receive from our passionate CHALK educators is unparalleled. Each one of our teachers have chosen to make Early Childhood Development their priority!

Every CHALK teacher is a lead teacher. This means they all have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. CHALK administrators ALL began as CHALK teachers & progressed to assistant directors, curriculum coordinators and/or directors. Their knowledge & understanding of a child’s developmental stages are the building blocks for the most successful, loving & nurturing environment.

We celebrate and encourage our faculty to continue growing and exploring within CHALK Preschool. Our faculty and staff are continually First Aid and CPR certified. We value diversity and inclusion in our work culture and are proud that our team of college graduates is comprised mainly of women representing many ethnicities.

Chalk Hermosa Staff Madison

Hi! My name is Madison Sanello. I have been a part of the world of preschool for over a decade. I began my journey with CHALK Preschool in December 2012, back in my hometown of Chicago, and made my way to sunny LA in 2015 to continue my CHALK journey at the Manhattan Beach location.

I have always had an affinity towards working with children, so I love to be able to say I truly have the best job! I believe that the formative preschool years are some of the most important years for children to develop social skills, a foundation of learning, and a zest for life as they grow. I look forward to building a relationship with you and your child!

CHALK Tarzana Staff Viviana S

Viviana S.

Assistant Director

Hello! My name is Viviana, I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Child Development. I have been an educator for eleven years and have spent the last 5 years as a teacher at CHALK of Manhattan Beach.

I enjoy teaching because it gives me the opportunity to guide children through their early development and spark their love for learning! Outside of my love for the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and two-year-old son. I look forward to meeting you all!

CHALK Rancho Palos Verdes Staff Ms. Esther

Ms. Esther

Hello CHALK families! My name is Esther Ro and I am very excited to be a part of the CHALK family. I was born and raised in the South Bay area. I received a BS in Child Development and Family Studies from CSULB. I’ve been working with young children for 10 years, taking on roles as an early intervention assistant and a teacher.

It brings me such joy working with this age group because I get to teach them foundational skills that are important for the future. I love seeing children grow, learn, and have fun! Music is a big part of my life, and I love to incorporate fun songs and dancing as a part of our learning. I truly believe teamwork makes the dream work! I look forward to working with all of you to make these dreams come true!

Ms. Danielle

Hello! My name is Danielle Leon and I am thrilled to join the CHALK family. I was born and raised in San Pedro, CA, and have been in the preschool world for over a decade now. I also have experience being a Nanny. I believe that play, coupled with encouraging mentors, is a valuable learning approach. In 2014, I earned my BA in Early Childhood Education from Cal Poly Humboldt, known for its majestic Redwoods. After spending time up North, I believe nature offers invaluable lessons, fostering children's independence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

The wonder and joy I see in preschoolers when they achieve milestones or learn something new brings me so much happiness. I am excited to get to know your child and go on this new journey with them! Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor adventures, traveling, and quality time with loved ones and animals.
