Staff

The quality of care & education your child will receive from our passionate CHALK educators is unparalleled. Each one of our teachers have chosen to make Early Childhood Development their priority!

Every CHALK teacher is a lead teacher. This means they all have, at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. CHALK administrators ALL began as CHALK teachers & progressed to assistant directors, curriculum coordinators and/or directors. Their knowledge & understanding of a child’s developmental stages are the building blocks for the most successful, loving & nurturing environment.

We celebrate and encourage our faculty to continue growing and exploring within CHALK Preschool. Our faculty and staff are continually First Aid and CPR certified. We value diversity and inclusion in our work culture and are proud that our team of college graduates is comprised mainly of women representing many ethnicities.

Madison

Director

Hi! My name is Madison Sanello. I have been a part of the world of preschool for over a decade. I began my journey with CHALK Preschool in December 2012, back in my hometown of Chicago, and made my way to sunny LA in 2015 to continue my CHALK journey at the Manhattan Beach location.

I have always had an affinity towards working with children, so I love to be able to say I truly have the best job! I believe that the formative preschool years are some of the most important years for children to develop social skills, a foundation of learning, and a zest for life as they grow. I look forward to building a relationship with you and your child!

I enjoy teaching because it gives me the opportunity to guide children through their early development and spark their love for learning! Outside of my love for the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and two-year-old son. I look forward to meeting you all!

Ms. Brooke

Floater

Hello CHALK Families! My name is Brooke, and I recently moved here from San Diego. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and am currently preparing to pursue a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Childcare and teaching have always been passions of mine, and I’m dedicated to helping children communicate effectively, interact socially, and succeed in both their academic and personal lives.

For the past three years in San Diego, I worked as a preschool teacher and also taught in a performing arts program for children aged 18 months to 12 years. In this role, I led a variety of classes, including mommy and me dance, baby ballet, preschool and junior cheer, tumbling, musical theater, and cooking camps. I am thrilled to join the CHALK community and look forward to creating a nurturing and joyful learning environment where every child can explore, grow, and shine.
